I bought this model, an Air koryo IL - 62, a few weeks ago at a reasonable price from an unknown manufacturer, and here it is, it has arrived! Despite it not being perfect, I like it anyway!

The tail has had some damage to it as can be seen here.

If you look in closely at these, you can see how naively done some of the bits are, such as how the flaps on the wings are represented. Also, on the left wing, there is what looks like a hair from a paint brush.

The model has numerous little blemmishes in it's finish, such as the mark on the nose

Firstly, although this is only evident if you zoom in on this, may I say that I was so busy taking pictures that I forgot to brush/wipe the wing properly before photographing this. Although this plane seems to attract dust easily, the wing really isn't as dirty as it looks in places here! What is there however can be seen here in this close up of a paintbrush hair that has been caught in the surface. Also, this shows just how crudely the way the slots representing the flaps have been done.

When I took this model out of the box, it was covered in lots of tiny pieces of polystyrene, and I still find one or two bits now. However, the white bits inside the engine seem to be part of it

It is little imperfections like this that I like about this model as it looks like it's been hand made or similar!
